Mississauga, Canada, Job Title Marketing Coordinator/Guest Services Lead Job Description Summary Erin Mills Town Centre is looking for a full time Marketing Coordinator/Guest Services Lead to join the Marketing team. Working with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator/Guest Services Lead assists with delivering all facets of Erin Mills Town Centre’s marketing program. This is a full-time position which requires an individual who is able to work Monday through Friday as well as the occasional evening or weekend if required. Job Description The position is multi-functional across a broad spectrum of responsibilities working with the Marketing Director to execute the annual Marketing Plan in the following areas: Assisting in coordination and execution of in-centre marketing communication, events and programs by: Creating and maintaining relationships with Retailer Managers to feature brands, products and/or services + promotions to assist Retailers in meeting their sales targets; Supervising the day-to-day operations of a full-service, free-standing Guest Services kiosk; Supervising the Gift Card Program, including monthly reconciliation, vendor management and strategies to increase Gift Card sales; Supporting and developing the Guest Services team with Customer Service best practices.
Reviewing and sharing monthly sales reporting information, assisting in the contact sourcing and creation of monthly Tenant memo. Ensuring the Erin Mills Town Centre website is up to date with daily/weekly updates reflecting Retailer: changes, promotions, news and events and job descriptions; Producing reports including monthly traffic results, online engagement and usage statistics on Erin Mills Town Centre’s website, e-newsletter and social media platforms, reporting on monthly events, advertising and public relations; Continuous adaptation and development of social media strategies in conjunction with the Marketing Director, including but not limited to: creating weekly, monthly and annual social media plans, coordination of video/photo shoots, content generation and sourcing, influencer coordination, consistent measurement of analytics, recognizing trends/audience behavioral patterns, partner reporting and daily engagement; Assisting with tracking of expenses, creation of annual budgets. Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director or General Manager. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Experience in Retail or Hospitality, preferred marketing, advertising, and special events; Computer proficiency in Adobe, or Illustrator, or other similar graphic design program, Canva, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Previous experience managing staff an asset; Strategic and tactical background in social media marketing development and outreach; photography, social platforms, posts, video sharing sites, etc.; Experience using website content management software (CMS) and Facebook Ads; Excellent project planning, research and analytical skills; Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a solution focused approach to challenges in absence of management; Detail oriented self-starter with strong organizational, prioritizing and time management skills Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, customers and contractors to provide support and complete projects; Willing to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends; Must be able to provide clear criminal background check EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate degree in marketing, graphic design, public relations, communications, commerce, or business administration preferred.
Minimum two years of related marketing, event planning or business experience.
