Houston, Texas, We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, sales, and growth.
Develop marketing materials including brochures, flyers, catalogs, etc.
Supports planning/execution of trade shows, special events and conferences
Develop graphics for social media posts, web banners and emails
Responsible for day-to-day updates and maintenance of online content such as the Company’s website, coordinating graphics/images, proofreading for quality and accuracy, and adhering to brand guidelines.
Gather and distribute analytics reports that includes statistics from online sources such as the website/landing pages, and online advertising.
Build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external resources to drive the needs of the business.
Perform proofreading as well as basic copywriting and editing.
Organize testimonials from current customers
Ordering and maintaining marketing materials
Monthly reporting on follower/lead growth
Salesforce marketing campaign POC
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to daily tasks and responsibilities.
Superior project management skills, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and assume project leadership responsibility.
Requires strong verbal and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven attention to detail.
Must be analytical, strategic, and able to communicate concepts to all levels in the organization with team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to changes quickly.
Proficient with common software tools such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Travel to trade shows as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Two (2) or more years in marketing/sales and communication.
Experience with the oil and gas industry is preferred.
