Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Pay Grade/Pay Range:   Based on Qualifications Department/Organization:  301103 – Alumni Affairs Normal Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm Note to Applicants: This position may be eligible for remote hybrid work. Job Summary:  The Director of Alumni Membership and Marketing develops and leads the implementation of a systematic and strategic approach to increasing membership in the National Alumni Association. Generates all revenue to support the National Alumni Association operating budget including raising membership funds through a variety of avenues such as direct mail solicitations, text, digital engagement, at events, telemarketing and corporate matching gifts. Builds and maintains a successful young alumni membership program to attract and retain lifelong members.

Identifies, solicits, and administers other sources of revenue income including royalty income and sponsorships as well as leading a small team of professionals. Required Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of fundraising or sales experience to include some supervisory experience; OR master’s degree and three (3) years of fundraising or sales experience to include some supervisory experience. Skills and Knowledge:  Excellent written and oral communication skills. Interpersonal and organizational skills.

Substantial planning, management, and supervisory skills. Knowledge of working through and with volunteers. Knowledge of database management.
