Your role in helping us shape the future:
U.S. News & World Report is hiring an Associate Account Manager who will partner with our sales team and our partners to ensure the long-term success of advertising campaigns primarily within our Education, and other verticals.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in client relations or account management. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude. This position will directly contribute to the success of a new revenue stream at U.S. News.
Are you up to the challenge?
Implementation and day to day management of online advertising campaigns
Responsible for set up of campaign and order management
Monitor daily campaign performance and seek opportunities for optimization and performance improvement against advertiser KPI’s
Provide clients with regular campaign reporting
Create post-campaign summary reporting and overall analysis
Manage and be accountable for billing reconciliation and reporting
Develop and maintain close client relationships which includes thoroughly preparing for client calls and meetings
You should definitely have:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
1-3 years of digital media experience at a publisher, brand or agency
Demonstrated success in fast-paced and demanding client facing environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proactive attitude with the desire to learn our business and become a key player on a results-oriented team
Detail oriented and organized with a strong ability to multitask, must be able to juggle multiple projects
Experience with platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Data Management Platform (DMP), Google Analytics, data visualization software etc.

In New York City, the anticipated base salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
